Memorial Service for John Whybrow, our late, beloved, organist. Sunday 13th February, 5.00pm

In 2020 our beloved organist of 55 years, John Whybrow, sadly died. We are having a special memorial service full of music to celebrate his ministry to us. You are warmly invited to attend on Sunday 13th February at 5.00pm at St James, Barlborough. The Rector of St James’, Barlborough, invites applications for the post of Organist (and if appropriate Choral Director) to begin in September 2021. John Whybrow RIP – organist at Barlborough church for 55 years

The funeral of our beloved organist at Barlborough Church, John Whybrow, took place today. It was a simple service according to the Book of Common Prayer at John’s request and was attended by family only (because of current restrictions). Thank you to those from our church family who clapped his hearse as it travelled to Clowne Cemetery.
