Hello from the Rector

Dear friends,

I listened to an excellent podcast this week about the Spiritual Life – an interview between Fr James Martin and Sr Helen Prejean – who wrote the book Dead Man Walking and who is a tireless campaigner against the death penalty. The conversation they had I found helpful, inspiring and uplifting and I heartily recommend it, you can watch it on Youtube here, it is also available on podcast platforms like Spotify:

I am away this week and so during that time, if you need a priest, please contact Rev Adrian Murray-Leslie. I will be back for Candlemas on 1st February. Although I’m away, there will be a Refresh Service this Sunday at 5pm at Clowne (but no Morning Prayer at 8.30am).
