Hello from the Rector

Dear friends,

New Small Group Course
For small group this term we are going to be working our way through an excellent book about being a disciple inspired by John Chapter 4 – the story of the Woman at the Well. The book is called Belonging by Karoline Lewis. I will ensure you can do the course without purchasing the book yourself but should you wish to purchase a copy, I suggest you look at abebooks.co.uk as there are second hand ones available at a much cheaper price than £13.99 on Amazon.

Session dates are as follows all at 7.30pm on Tuesdays in Clowne Church:

10th Feb
Lent:
24th Feb
10th Mar
24th Mar
Break for Easter
21st Apr
5th May

This Sunday the Epiphany season ends as we celebrate Candlemas and turn from the crib to the cross. Do join us for our beautiful services on Sunday – 10am Sung Eucharist at Clowne with the blessing of the candles, and 5pm Choral Evensong at Barlborough.

See you there!

Every blessing,

Rev Bryony

Here’s how you can help by joining the Parish Giving Scheme and giving by Direct Debit.

A regular gift really helps our cash flow, prevents the need for us to count cash and go to the bank and the scheme automatically claims Gift Aid.

It gives all of us peace of mind – you’re not worrying about your envelopes with your cash gift piling up and we’re not worrying about loss of income – it’s a win win!
