Hello from the Rector
Dear friends,
I hope you’ve had a good week. I had a very special time last weekend as I was made an Honorary Canon at Derby Cathedral. Feel free to watch the service on Youtube here: https://www.youtube.com/live/l6uWsVJB084?si=rFVJC0AFuU4VESW6. Here I am with Bishop Libby.

This Sunday we have our Refresh Service at Clowne at which we will be looking at a meditation on the words of St Julian of Norwich, I hope you can join us!
On Saturday 4th October we will be decorating Clowne church for Harvest Festival and all are welcome to come and help from 10am-4pm. You might have some apples, hops, pumpkins etc you could bring to help us with the decorating.
Our Harvest Festival services will take place on 5th October at Clowne and 12th October at Barlborough. Please bring non-perishable items for the foodbank and a donation for the Bishop’s Harvest Appeal which aims to raise £20,000 for an environmental sustainability and community peacebuilding project in Bujumbura, Burundi.
Every blessing,
Rev Bryony
