Stations of the Nativity for 2020

From Monday 14th December 2020 ten stations of the Nativity will be available to view outside our churches on the railings. The idea is much the same as the ‘stations of the cross’ – there are ten stopping points to reflect on the stories around the birth of Jesus. These stations will also be shared on our website here. Click on the relevant link to read the station for each day:

  1. Annunciation – Luke 1:26-37 – Monday 14th December
  2. The Visitation – Luke 1:39-47 – Tuesday 15th December
  3. Birth of John the Baptist – Luke 1:57-66 – Wednesday 16th December
  4. Birth of Jesus – Luke 2:1-7 – Thursday 17th December
  5. Shepherds and Angels – Luke 2:8-14 – Friday 18th December
  6. Shepherds at the Manger – Luke 2:15-20 – Saturday 19th December
  7. Magi – Matthew 2:1-12 – Sunday 20th December
  8. The Presentation of Jesus in the Temple – Luke 2:22-35 – Monday 21st December
  9. Flight into Egypt – Matthew 2:13-15 – Tuesday 22nd December
  10.  Joseph’s Dream – Matthew 2:18-24 – Wednesday 23rd December
